Psychedelic Research and Breakthroughs in Depression Treatment

In the 1940's Albert Hoffman first synthesized LSD and released a powerful hallucinagenic. From 1940-1970 people were dropping acid left and right, understanding life on a different level and exploring the world around them. Shortly after Woodstock, Nixon coined the term War on Drugs outlawing various drugs and putting a halt to Psychedelic reaserch. In early 2019, Rick Doblin created MAPS, a company aimed at legalizing psychedlics to clinical use in order to further understand the theraputic uses.
