Therapeutic Usage of Psychedelics
During the war on drugs, LSD was made illegal and thus limiting the
true understanding it's benefits, psychedelics allow us to learn more
about the brain.
Psychedelic Research and Breakthroughs in Depression Treatment
In the 1940's Albert Hoffman first synthesized LSD and released a
powerful hallucinagenic. From 1940-1970 people were dropping acid left
and right, understanding life on a different level and exploring the
world around them. Shortly after Woodstock, Nixon coined the term War on
Drugs outlawing various drugs and putting a halt to Psychedelic
reaserch. In early 2019, Rick Doblin created MAPS, a company aimed at
legalizing psychedlics to clinical use in order to further understand
the theraputic uses.
